GEN-MAX works for any type of role where you want to contact companies directly - internships, summer placements, graduate roles, part-time jobs, freelance enquiries, and more. If you can write an email about it, GEN-MAX can send it at scale.
How does the AI Firm Finder work?
You describe what you're looking for (e.g. "boutique hedge funds in Mayfair") and the AI searches Google Maps, visits each firm's website, reads what they actually do, and builds a verified list with contact emails. It filters out irrelevant results automatically.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Each user's data is completely isolated. Your emails, lists, and settings are stored separately and never shared with other users. Gmail access uses Google's official OAuth - we never see your password. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Why is GEN-MAX invite-only?
We want to keep GEN-MAX exclusive and high-quality. By limiting access, we can ensure every user gets the best possible experience and maintain the effectiveness of our outreach approach. This isn't a mass-market tool - it's a competitive edge.
What makes GEN-MAX different from other outreach tools?
Most tools pull from databases or help you track applications. GEN-MAX finds companies that match your criteria, scrapes their actual website to understand their business, gets their contact email, and sends personalised outreach. Do I need to pay for API keys?
No. Shared API keys are included at no extra cost. You can optionally bring your own Google Places and Anthropic API keys for unlimited usage, but it's not required to get started.

By connecting, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time - doing so immediately deletes your stored access tokens.
Which email provider do you use?
● Gmail — fully supported. Easiest path is the "Connect Gmail" button above (no setup). Or use an app password below.
● Yahoo — supported. Use a Yahoo app password (yahoo.com / yahoo.co.uk / ymail.com).
● Outlook / Hotmail / Live / MSN — not supported. Microsoft disabled basic email sending for personal accounts in 2024, and we haven't built Microsoft OAuth integration yet. The easiest fix is a free Gmail address.
● Anything else — not currently supported. Set up a free Gmail and use that.

You need 2-Step Verification turned on for your Google account. If you don't already, set it up at myaccount.google.com/security (most people already have it).

Open myaccount.google.com/apppasswords in a new tab. Sign in if asked.

In the box that says "App name", type GEN-MAX, then click the blue Create button.

Google shows you a 16-letter code that looks like abcd efgh ijkl mnop. Copy the whole thing (spaces are fine), paste it into the App Password box above, then click anywhere to save.

Using shared or your own keys?

By default you use the site's shared keys - works straight away, no setup. Switch to your own if you want unlimited searches and emails.

Anthropic is the AI behind GEN-MAX. You need an account to get unlimited AI usage.
How to get it (2 minutes):
1. Go to console.anthropic.com and sign up (free)
2. Add a card and put about $5 of credit on (≈ £4 / €5) - that's all you'll ever need, it costs fractions of a cent per search
3. Click API Keys in the left menu → Create Key
4. Copy the key (starts with sk-ant-) and paste it above
Google is used to find companies on the map. It's completely free for the amount GEN-MAX uses.
How to get it (3 minutes):
1. Go to console.cloud.google.com and sign in with your Google account
2. Create a new project (call it anything - "genmax" works)
3. Go to APIs & Services → Library, search Places API and enable it
4. Go to APIs & Services → Credentials → Create Credentials → API Key
5. Copy the key (starts with AIza) and paste it above
✓ Once saved, your keys are used for all searches and emails - no more limits.
